Tithe Online
The meaning of tithe means a tenth, not of just money but of everything given by God. There are a number of biblical references, including Genesis 14:20; Genesis 28:20-22; Deuteronomy 12:5-11. They use the words “all God has given us” in the tithing context. All mean Time, Talents and Money. In today’s world mostly money comes to mind when the word tithe is mentioned.
Traditionally, weekly envelopes have been the means of money tithing in the Church. However, Jesus Our Risen Savior Catholic Church wishes to offer parishioners alternative ways to give, to suit your needs and financial styles and to save printing and mailing costs to the parish. These methods of paperless giving also benefit the environment.
